Mellissa became a firm believer in the power of yoga when she experienced it more than seven years ago. Mellissa credits yoga with saving her life and she now encourages everyone she knows to practice. She wanted to dive deep into her practice so she completed her 200 hour training in Bhakti yoga. Staying true to yoga's roots is incredibly important to her so she is always reading the ancient texts (svadhyaya) and continuing to learn from others in the field.
Along with yoga, Mellissa is a master trainer for BarreFlow and loves leading challenging fitness classes. She believes in fun and effective workouts that leave you feeling empowered and sore.
