Cheryl began her wellness career started in 2015 with a Pilates Mat Certification from Core Pilates NYC and a 250 hour Power Vinyasa yoga certification in 2016. Cheryl relocated to the Albany area in 2017 after working in the fashion industry and living in New York City for 12 years.

Cheryl was always active in competitive athletics as a child and throughout her college years and early twenties. She was introduced to yoga and Pilates in 2011 and was immediately captivated by the way they strengthened the muscles in her entire body and addressed the mind-body connection, which other forms of exercises had not. She added BarreFlow and HIIT training to her routine in 2017 and loves to continue learning new forms of fitness to challenge both herself and her students. She completed her 500 hour Comprehensive Pilates Certification in August 2020.

Cheryl continues to be inspired by the way these modalities realign, motivate, and improve all body types and how they work for beginners to experts! She creates classes that emphasize alignment, posture and optimal movement patterns, bringing the mind-body principles from her Pilates and yoga trainings to her classes, with the goal of challenging students and deepening their connection and awareness to the body. Developing the mind-body connection these create is a key to her teaching style and she loves building relationships with her students.
