Avery is a true movement enthusiast. In addition to being a yoga teacher, she is also a certified fitness trainer and mom of two. She loves all kinds of movement, and is always trying new things! Her passion for yoga and fitness stems from her own struggle with chronic illness. When she was diagnosed with an incurable autoimmune disease at the age of 19, Avery was inspired to fight her illness by making permanent lifestyle changes. Through healthy nutrition, regular exercise, and mindfulness practices, Avery is able to stay in remission and enjoy life to the fullest.
She has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and loves to combine yoga with other forms of fitness. Her motto is, “exercise is the best medicine!” Avery is truly passionate about helping others achieve health and wellness in their lives too. She understands that wellness is an on-going process that takes dedication and patience. Her positive attitude and calming energy provide a welcoming class environment!
